With the purchase of his first Mac, a MacBook Pro Late 2007, Frank Poole rediscovered his joy in making computer-based music. After composing the first song named “The L Word” in Garageband, he rapidly switched over to Logic Pro and improved his way of making music.
He then soon combined electro sounds with real instruments… months passed and a multitude of songs going from progressive-electro to pop-rock were created. Some of the songs finally ended up as part of Dick Laurent, while others still wait for their release…
In August 2010 he joined the Cassius Remix Competition with his version of the Smash Hit “Sound of Violence”.
